Montenegro became a member of WIPO on December 4, 2006. All conventions, agreements and protocols that Montenegro was party to in prior state arrangements became effective since the date of admittance. The delegation of Montenegro for the first time participated in the work of General Assembly WIPO at its 45th session, from 22 -30 September, 2008.
