 As part of the Montenegrin SEECP chairmanship, ministries of Economy, Sustainable Development and Energy and the Office for Sustainable Development, in coordination with the MFAEI, organised a ministerial meeting on the topics of sustainable development and energy. The meeting, titled "Green Economy in the Energy Sector in the Context of Sustainable Development," was opened by Minister of Economy and Minister of Sustainable Development and Tourism, Vladimir Kavarić and Predrag Sekulić, and the Acting Director of the Sustainable Development Office, Bosiljka Vuković.

 The regional conference of justice and interior ministers of the SEECP participating states was held in Budva on March 16-18, 2011 on the topic "Strengthening cooperation in fight against organised crime in South-East Europe." The conference was held as part of the Montenegrin chairmanship of the SEECP and it gathered justice and interior ministers of the participant states, regional and international institutions' representatives and diplomatic representatives accredited to Montenegro.

 The meeting of the SEECP countries' Defence Ministers was held in Budva on March 14-15 in the organisation of the Ministry of Defence as part of the Montenegrin chairmanship of the SEECP. The meeting was devoted to the exchange of opinions regarding the enhancement of cooperation in the area of defence and regional security. Defence Minister Boro Vučinić hosted the event, which was attended by six ministers, two deputy ministers and two state secretaries. Honorary guests were the NATO's Assistant Secretary-General Hüseyin Diriöz, Secretary-General of the Regional Cooperation Council (RCC) Hido Biščević, OSCE Head of Mission to Montenegro Sarunas Adomavicius and the Director of the Regional Arms Control Verification and Implementation Assistance Centre (RACVIAC) Nikola Todorčevski. The conference adopted the Joint Statement by the SEECP Ministers of Defense.

The meeting was presided by Ambassador Veselin Šuković, Acting Director General for multilateral affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration.

A meeting of the heads of consular departments of the South East European Co-operation Process (SEECP) was organised today in Podgorica by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, as part of the Montenegrin presidency of this regional initiative.
It gathered representatives of SEECP member-states (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Greece, Macedonia, Romania, Serbia, and Turkey), as well as the representatives of the Migration, Asylum, Refugees Regional Initiative (MARRI) and the Regional Cooperation Council (RCC).

The first meeting of the Political Directors of the South-East European Cooperation Process (SEECP) under the Chairmanship of Montenegro was held today in Podgorica. The South-East European Cooperation Process (SEECP) is a regional framework for political coordination of cooperation between 12 countries (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Montenegro, Greece, Croatia, Macedonia, Moldova, Romania, Slovenia, Serbia and Turkey), initiated in June 1996, aimed at promoting and strengthening good neighbourly relations between South-East European countries and at transforming the region into the zone of peace, security, stability and cooperation.
