Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs for Bilateral Relations Irena Radović received delegation of Foreign Ministry of PR China, headed by Director General of the Office for European Affairs of MFA of China, Li Ruiyu, for political consultations.

Both parties expressed mutual content with the intensity of political contacts, as well as great bilateral and multilateral co-operation between the two traditionally friendly countries.

Both parties expressed mutual content with the intensity of political contacts, as well as great bilateral and multilateral co-operation between the two traditionally friendly countries.

During the conversation, economy and tourism were recognised as very significant fields in future relations. Radović highlighted that one of the priority goals is enhancement of trade between Montenegro and PR China and she marked harbour of Bar a strategic point for China's export in South-eastern Europe.

During the conversation, multilateral cooperation was discussed in the context of the significance of reforming the Security Council and different opinions on this issue among UN Member states.

From Montenegrin part, meeting was attended by Ambassador Milan Lakić, Director of Direction for Europe Ana Ražnatović, and Director of Direction for UN and Other International Organisations Nataša Jovović.
