Minister of Foreign Affairs of Montenegro Milan Roćen met today with the British Ambassador Kevin Lyne, on his farewell visit. Minister Roćen thanked Lyne for the contribution given to the development of bilateral cooperation and political contacts between Montenegro and the Great Britain, as well as for the British Government’s assistance in the process of internal reforms and capacity building in the key sectors of the system, which directly contributed to the country’s efforts for strengthening regional stability and achieving its European and Euro-Atlantic goals. Ambassador Lyne noted progress achieved by Montenegro at both domestic and international scenes in a short period of time, and pointed out that such a progress set aside Montenegro as a bright spot in the region. He expressed his conviction that the country’s further progress towards the EU and NATO would remain equally dynamic in future, with support of the Great Britain and other European partners. Minister Roćen wished Ambassador Lyne every success in his future endeavors.
