Minister of Foreign Affairs Milan Rocen met today Ambassador of Ukraine Oksana Sljusarenko.

Minister Roćen and Ambassador Sljusarenko discussed the prospects of further development of cooperation between Montenegro and Ukraine in all areas, especially in economy and trade. In that context, they welcomed the forthcoming International economic forum which would to be organized by the Montenegrin Chamber of Commerceo and the company Conference House, in which some 150 companies from Ukraine would take part.

Both sides emphasized their readiness to continue negotiations on Montenegro’s accession to the World Trade Organization, and in that vein pointed out the importance of the recent visit of Montenegrin delegation to Kiev, headed by the Minister for European integration Gordana Đurović.

Ambassador Sljusarenko conveyed to Minister Roćen invitation to the Council of Europe Forum for future of democracy, which would be hosted by the Government of Ukraine in October.
