Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs dr Irena Radović received today the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic, Vladimír Galuška.
Radović noted that the two friendly countries are making constant progress in developing and strengthening the ties and political dialogue on all levels, confirmed by the intensity of the contacts at the highest and operative levels. In this context, she recalled the recent visit of the Minister of Finance of the Czech Republic, Eduard Janota, on June 2, 2010, when the bilateral Agreement on Promotion and Protection of Investment was signed.

Radović acquainted Galuška with the progress Montenegro has made after the restoration of independence on the political, economic and overall level, as well as with the activities that the Government of Montenegro plans to realise in the future. She emphasised that the strong regional cooperation and the fulfilment of obligations undertaken towards the European and Euro-Atlantic integrations remain the pinnacle of foreign policy priorities of Montenegro. Radović re-expressed gratitude to the Czech Republic for the assistance it provides to Montenegro in the accomplishment of its European and Euro-Atlantic goals, as well as for its hitherto development help.
Deputy Foreign Minister of the Czech Republic Galuška emphasised that the bilateral relations between Montenegro and the Czech Republic are very good, and that the special emphasis should be put on the enhancement of the economic and energy cooperation. He commended the progress Montenegro achieved on the internal level and in the process of integration, accentuating the remarkably positive role of Montenegro in the region. He reiterated that Montenegro can continue to count on the strong support from the Czech Republic, both on the level of development help and in the context of European and Euro-Atlantic integrations.
In a friendly and open conversation, the collocutors have affirmed that the future cooperation will further be strengthened through the organisation of the forthcoming business forum for Montenegrin and Czech businessmen under the aegis of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
