Minister of Foreign Affairs Milan Roćen received today the High Representative and EU Special Representative in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Valentin Inzko, who attended the III Montenegrin Summer School for Young Diplomats ‘Gavro Vuković’ in Berane as a lecturer.

Mr Inzko congratulated on the excellent organisation and success of the Summer School and said that this project represents an excellent example of devotion to strengthen regional cooperation and dialogue among young diplomats.

He also complimented Montenegro on the role it has in the regional context and in terms of improving the policy of good relations with neighbouring countries, underlining the results Montenegro achieved in the process of European and Euro-Atlantic integrations.

The collocutors jointly stressed the role and importance of the regional dimension in achieving strategic goals of the Western Balkan countries.

Yesterday, Minister Roćen met with the Senior Fellow at the Center for Transatlantic Relations of the Johns Hopkins, Michael Haltzel, who was also one of the lecturers at the Summer School. Minister Roćen and Mr Haltzel exchanged opinions on current events in the region and issues related to further progress of Montenegro towards the EU and NATO.
