Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of Montenegro Milan Rocen hosted today the newly appointed Ambassador of Israel Joseph Levy. Minister Rocen congratulated Ambassador Levy appointment to the position and wished him success in his future work. He expressed content with developing cooperation and overall relations of the two countries, as well as with the establishment of the Jewish community in Montenegro and the NGO Likuid. He also conveyed willingness for further strengthening of bilateral cooperation, especially through better valorisation of economic potentials.

They especially emphasized the forthcoming conference ‘Door to Montenegro’ which will take place on 23 and 24 November in Tel Aviv. It has been underlined that both parties attach great importance to the conference which is to be opened by foreign ministers Rocen and Liberman, while the attendants will be ministers of economy and agriculture of Montenegro and Israel, high representatives of the Ministry of Tourism, and a significant number of entrepreneurs. Minister Rocen and Ambassador Levy stressed the contribution of the honorary Consulate of Montenegro Rinot Nimrod in the organisation of the Conference and the strengthening of cooperation between the two countries. During the meeting interlocutors exchanged opinions on multilateral cooperation and certain issues of regional importance.
