Rocen-Kwang-keunMinister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Milan Rocen hosted had separate meetings with newly appointed Ambassadors of the Republic of Korea Kim Kwang-keun, Finland Pekka Orpana, and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea Ju Wang Hwan.
Minister Rocen congratulated Ambassadors appointments to the positions and expressed expectation that the Ambassador Kim Kwang-keun will contribute personally to the enhancement of overall relations and the establishment of first political contacts between the two countries. To that end he conveyed the invitation to the Minister of Foreign Affairs Kim Sung-Hwan to visit Montenegro. Ambassador Kwang-keun thanked for the very good cooperation at the multilateral level which will also contribute to the strengthening of bilateral relations.

Finska

Minister Rocen underlined that Montenegro greatly appreciates Finland's support to its European aspirations and informed Ambassador Orpana of the country's expectations vis à vis the European Commission's recommendation on the opening of accession negotiations.

 

Ambassador Orpana conveyed greetings of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Finland Erkki Toumioia. He noted that Finland supports the European integration process of Montenegro thus underlining that its further progress towards the EU membership will, among other things, additionally strengthen the bilateral relations of the two countries as partners within the EU.

In the context of EU integration interlocutors agreed more intensive cooperation, especially with regards to better valorisation of IPA projects and the exchange of experiences.

Rocen-Wang_HwanWith Ambassador of the People's Republic of Korea Ju Wang Hwan, Minister Rocen discussed issues of bilateral and multilateral cooperation.
