Permanent representatives of Montenegro and the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia to the UN in New York, Ambassadors Milorad Šćepanović and Tekeda Alemu signed on 10 June 2011 the Protocol on the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations at the ambassadorial level between the two states. Both sides said this step prompts further enhancement of friendly relations and bilateral and multilateral cooperation. They discussed cooperation in various areas.
