Yesterday evening the Embassy of Montenegro in Berlin organized a reception on the occasion of the 13 of July – the Statehood Day. Around 200 guests, representatives of the Federal Foreign Office, German Bundestag and other state institutions, representatives of German cultural and civil society, numerous representatives of diplomatic cops, members of Montenegrin Diaspora and friends of Montenegro, were present at the reception, organized in the atrium of Deutsche Bank, located at the prominent Berlin boulevard ’’Unter den linden’’, to celebrate the 131st anniversary of Montenegrin statehood and 3rd year of its independence.

Around 200 guests, representatives of the Federal Foreign Office, German Bundestag and other state institutions, representatives of German cultural and civil society, numerous representatives of diplomatic cops, members of Montenegrin Diaspora and friends of Montenegro, were present at the reception, organized in the atrium of Deutsche Bank, located at the prominent Berlin boulevard ’’Unter den linden’’, to celebrate the 131st anniversary of Montenegrin statehood and 3rd year of its independence.

In his speech, Ambassador of Montenegro to the Federal Republic of Germany, Vladimir Radulović, emphasized the results Montenegro achieved so far at the international scene, its significant progress made in European and Euro-Atlantic integration process and expressed his conviction that Montenegro will with the same pace further follow this positive trend. He particularly pointed out the fact that Montenegro became regional symbol and synonym of multireligious, multinational and multiethnic harmony and cooperation, which implies that we are trustworthy member of European family of nations, since this stands for central idea of European unification. Ambassador also expressed his gratitude for significant help and support of Germany, which is of great importance and irreplaceable along our way to the final goal.

After the speech, well known Montenegrin pianist Milica Vickovic and her husband Aleksandar Reffgen played Montenegrin and German anthems on piano and saxophone.
