Representatives of Montenegrin Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration and Hungarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs held bilateral consultations on Wednesday and Thursday, 1 and 2 February 2012, in Podgorica. Montenegrin delegation was lead by State Secretary for Political Affairs Ambassador Nebojsa Kaludjerovic while the Hungarian delegation was lead by Deputy State Secretary for Security Policy and Political Director in the Hungarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Peter Staraj. Consultations concerned issues of Euro-Atlantic and European Integration, regional cooperation and bilateral relations.

Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Milan Rocen received today in a farewell visit Ambassador of the Republic of Cyprus Charalambos Hadjisavvas.
Minister Rocen thanked Ambassador Hadjisavvas on his personal contribution to improvement of relations between the two countries and expressed willingness for further development of overall cooperation, especially in the field of European Integration. In this context, he underlined that Montenegro has been preparing intensively for the official opening of accession negotiations which is expected to start in the run up to Cyprus' takeover of the EU Presidency.

 Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Milan rocen received today Ambassador of Azerbaijan Eldar Hasanov. They expressed content with dynamics and the development of bilateral relations and underlined the importance of strengthening economic cooperation. In this respect they agreed to intensify activities on the preparation of the Agreement on avoidance of double taxation and other agreements which will regulate cooperation in various fields.

Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Inetgration Milan Roćen will host tomorrow the visit of Ambassador of Azerbaijan Eldar Hasanov at 11 am, followed by the visit of Ambassador of the Republic of Cyprus Charalambos Hadjisavvas at 1 pm, followed by the visit of Political Director at the Foreign Ministry of Hungary Peter Sztaray at 3:45 pm.
All three meetings will be held at the Cabinet of the Minister.
