The meeting of explanatory analytical overview of the EU acquis for Chapter 31 referring to foreign, security and defense policy was opened by Chief Negotiator and Negotiator for this chapter Ambassador Aleksandar Andrija Pejovic and Adviser to the Directorate for Croatia, Montenegro, Macedonia, Turkey and Island in the Directorate – General for Enlargement Marta Garcia Fidalgo
Representatives of the European External Action Service introduced content of this chapter to the members of Montenegrin work group and they provided necessary information and instruction for further harmonisation and application of European legislation.

Vice President of the Government and Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr Luksic met yesterday, during his work visit to Vienna Vice-Chancellor and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Austria Mr. Michael Spindelegger.
Spindelegger expressed his satisfaction with negotiation process initiation, with assessment that Austria remains devoted partner and friend of Montenegro in continuation of negotiation process. He expressed commitment of the Government of Austria to European perspective of Western Balkans, emphasising that progress of Montenegro gives strong impulse to entire region. “ Demanding parts of the way are expected but it will lead to life quality improvement of your citizens” Vice-chancellor estimated.

Within the project “ Montenegro Embassies – Open House’’ Montenegrin embassies in Ankara, Brussels, Berlin, Vienna, Moscow, Ljubljana, London, Rome and Budapest hosted on Friday encounters with Montenegrin students and members of Organisation of Montenegrin Students Abroad (OMSA).
Encounters were occasion for Montenegrin students to exchange their opinion and to set up open communication and cooperation.
