During attendance on this forum Minister of Foreign Affairs Milan Roćen had a number of bilateral meetings.
The Conference was organized by German Marshall Fund of the United States, Government of Kingdom of Belgium and Government of Czech Republic. Current political and security topics of international importance were discussed on numerous panels in the light of global financial and economic crisis.

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Montenegro Milan Roćen departed today for Brussels to attend Brussels forum, organised by American Marshal found, Government of Kingdom of Belgium and Government of Czech Republic. Brussels Forum is an annual meeting of the most influential American and European political, corporate, and intellectual leaders and is an opportunity for open opinion exchange regarding global developments

During his stay in Brussels Minister Roćen will have a number of bilateral meetings.

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Montenegro Milan Roćen received the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Norway Haakon Blankenborg.

They expressed mutual content with development of relations between two countries and expressed expectation that overall cooperation in the future will be uplifted, especially regarding economy and tourism.

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs for Bilateral Relations Irena Radović received delegation of Foreign Ministry of PR China, headed by Director General of the Office for European Affairs of MFA of China, Li Ruiyu, for political consultations.

Both parties expressed mutual content with the intensity of political contacts, as well as great bilateral and multilateral co-operation between the two traditionally friendly countries.

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Montenegro Milan Roćen received delegation of Foreign Ministry of PR China, headed by Director General of the Office for European Affairs of MFA of China, Li Ruiyu.

Ambassador of Montenegro to NATO and Benelux countries Veselin Šuković and Minister Delegate of Foreign Affairs of the Great Duchy of Luxembourg Nicolas Schmitt signed, in Luxembourg, the Protocol and exchanged ratification instruments on Agreement on Social Insurance between Montenegro and Luxembourg.

Agreement will became effective on May 1 2009, and comprises fundamental international principles of social care. This is very important for Montenegrin citizens who work and live in Luxembourg, because it will allow for them to enjoy their social care rights equally in both countries.

Within the forthcoming visit of delegation of Foreign Ministry of PR China to Podgorica on March 18 2009, consultations of the delegations of two Foreign Ministries will take place. Delegation of the Foreign Ministry of Montenegro will be headed by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Irena Radović.

Consultations will take place at Villa Gorica at 11.30.

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Montenegro Milan Roćen will receive delegation of Foreign Ministry of PR China, headed by Director General of the Office for European Affairs of MFA of China, Li Ruiyi on Wednesday.

Meeting will be held in Ministerial Cabinet at 11:00.

"Starting April 2009, possibilities for investing in Montenegro will be broadcasted by a network of TV stations across the USA," stated the representatives of the US-Montenegro Business Council and Agency for Promoting Foreign Investments (MIPA), Charles Dillon and Petar Ivanović, after the completion of the documentary "Montenegro - Jewell of the Mediterranean."
