The explanatory analytical overview of the EU acquis communautaire for Chapter 7 Intellectual Property Rights will take place in Brussels on 11 and 12 October.
The meeting will be launched by Director of the Intellectual Property Office and Head of Negotiating Group for this chapter Novak Adžić and adviser at the Directorate for Croatia, Montenegro, Macedonia, Turkey, and Iceland at the Directorate General for Enlargement Marta Garcia-Fidalgo.
Pursuant to the Agreement between the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of Montenegro on the settlement of the former USSR obligations regarding commodity trade between the former USSR and the former SFRY under the remaining part of the clearing debt of the Russian Federation to Montenegro, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of Montenegro had been informed that thus far three ATM 4200 TERION snow removal tractors with additional equipment have been shipped from the Russian customs authority and two of them arrived in Podgorica today.
In response to the statement made by the leader of the Democratic Front Miodrag Lekić in Kotor, referring to Mr Đukanović and Mr Sanader, saying that Montenegro has "handed over Prevlaka" to Croatia, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration points out, with the view to providing full information to the public, that the said statements made by Mr Lekić are incorrect, untrue, and mal-intended.
State Secretary for European Integration and Chief Negotiator Ambassador Aleksandar Andrija Pejović officially visited Iceland on 4-5 October 2012 and he had a number of meetings with high officials and other stakeholders involved in Iceland's EU negotiations.
Ambassador Pejović also had separate meetings with Iceland's Foreign Minister Össur Skarphéðinsson and with Chief Negotiator Stefan Haukur Johannesson, where he exchanged opinions and best practices from the negotiation process.

The representatives of line directorates general of the European Commission provided the analytical overview of the EU acquis for Chapter 8 by presenting the key documents in this area. They presented directives, decrees, recommendations, agreements, and communications that treat the principles and standards in this area.
