Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Milan Rocen will meet today with the Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov.

The meeting will take place in villa 'Gorica' at 8:20 pm.

Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of Montenegro Milan Rocen will depart to Brussels today where he will, at the invitation of NATO Secretary General Fog Rasmussen participate at tomorrow's meeting of Foreign Ministers of NATO member states and the contributors to the ISAF mission.

Three days after the Bonn Conference on Afghanistan, the attendants will discuss further plans for the transition process in this country and the engagement of the international community following the 2014.

OEBS_06122011Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Milan Rocen attended the OSCE ministerial meeting at the invitation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania, Audronius Ažubalis, which took place in Vilnius. The meeting gathered together Foreign Ministers of OSCE member states and the partner countries, as well as the representatives of international organisations. The meeting was opened by the President of Lithuania, Dalia Grybauskaitė.

Mr. Chairman,
Dear colleagues,
Ladies and gentlemen,

I would like to greet you on behalf of Montenegro and thank our hosts for the excellent organization of the event. A special thanks goes to Lithuania and Minister Ažubalis for the constructive leadership of the Organization during the Chairmanship in a year burdened with various challenges.

Our common goal is to modernize the work of the Organization, so as to adapt to the new circumstances. In this context, we need to further strengthen the OSCE mechanisms, especially in the conflict cycle.

Konferencija 05122011Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Milan Roćen attended the international Conference on Afghanistan held in Bonn, at the invitation of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Germany, Guido Westerwelle, and Afghanistan, Zalmai Rasul. The conference was opened by German Chancellor Angela Merkel, President of Afghanistan Hamid Karzai and Secretary General of the UN Ban Ki-moon.
The conference which was organised ten years after the first conference on Afghanistan took place in Bonn attended more than 100 delegations, including inter alia the Foreign Ministers of USA, Russia, China, India, Australia, Canada, leading European countries, as well as the EU High Representative for Foreign and Security Policy, Catherine Ashton

The two ministers will exchange opinions on Montenegro's European and Euro-Atlantic integration process and the enhancement of bilateral and multilateral cooperation between the two countries.
