State Secretary for Political Affairs Nebojša Kaluđerović hosted today Ambassador of the Republic of Korea Kim Jonghae in a farewell visit.

State Secretary Kaludjerovic thanked the Ambassador for his engagement and strengthening of the overall relations of Montenegro and the Republic of Korea during his diplomatic mission in Montenegro. In light of the further advancement of cooperation he expressed interest in furthering economic relations, especially trade, underlining the investment possibilities in the area of tourism, infrastructure, energy, renewable energy and services.

Rocen_ZbogarMinister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of Montenegro Milan Roćen participated today at the Bled Strategic Forum, on the invitation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Republic of Slovenia Samuel Žbogar.
In the run up to the Forum, Minister Roćen met with Minister Žbogar with whom he discussed current bilateral issues, European and Euro-Atlantic integration and the perspectives of Montenegro for further progress towards the EU and NATO. Roćen and Žbogar underlined the importance of the visit of President of Slovenia Danilo Türk to Montenegro as another confirmation of excellent relations between the two countries and the willingness for their further strengthening. The Business Forum makes a significant contribution towards strengthening economic and overall relations of the two friendly states.

Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Milan Roćen hosted today Deputy Foreign Minister of the People's Republic of China Fu Ying.

Mr Roćen said he was satisfied that Ms Ying visited Montenegro, which, as he said, confirms excellent relations between Montenegro and PR China and gives an additional impulse to the improvement of overall cooperation, its modernisation and dynamisation on the bases of traditional friendship and mutual benefit. He reminded that Montenegro and China mark five years since the establishment of diplomatic relations and expressed his belief that there is an excellent perspective to further strengthen the ties between the two countries and peoples, especially when it comes to attracting investment and tourism.

It is a great pleasure to address you on behalf of Montenegro at this important event that marks half of century since the Non-Aligned Movement was formed. I would like to thank Serbia for the initiative and the excellent organization of the meeting. I would particularly like to thank and congratulate Egypt for its contribution and active engagement in chairing the Movement. Alongside with Serbia and other successor countries of the SFRY, Montenegro, as an observer country in the Movement, is honored to be one of the hosts of our gathering in Belgrade today, where the first Conference of the heads of state and government of the NAM countries was held 50 years ago.
