The chief negotiator, Ambassador Aleksandar Andrija Pejovic, discussed today with representatives of civil sector the process of accession negotiations with the EU and the establishment of negotiating structures.

They exchanged opinions on most immediate obligations of Montenegro in the run up to the opening of accession negotiations with special accent on the establishment of the negotiating structures.

Ambassador Pejovic presented key activities in the forthcoming period and underlined the importance of absorbing all necessary potential of the Montenegrin society and the involvement and devotion of different social structures, where the NGO's in particular have a special role to play.

Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Milan Rocen will host on Monday, 23 January 2012 the Head of Unit for Montenegro at the Directorate General for Enlargement of the European Commission, Dirk Lange.

Minister of foreign Affairs and European Integration of Montenegro Milan Rocen will host the UNDP Permanent Representative, Rastislav Vrbenski, and UNICEF Representative, Benjamin Perks, on Monday, 16 January 2012. The meeting will take place in Villa 'Gorica' at 11:30 am. After the meeting, they will sign Action Plans for cooperation between the Government of Montenegro and the two UN sub-agencies for the period 2012-2016.
