Minister Roćen wished Ambassador Vrbenky success in his mission and thanked him for the UN's support in pursuing key goals from the cooperation programmes, which include EU accession negotiation assistance, social inclusion, support to vulnerable groups, climate change response, and regional and sustainable development.

Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Milan Roćen hosted today Ambassador of the Kingdom of Norway Nils Ragnar Kamsvåg.

Mr Roćen and Mr Kamsvag exchanged notes confirming the succession to the agreement on social insurance and avoiding double taxation between Montenegro and Norway, and they concluded that the succession to these bilateral treaties will create important preconditions for the improvement of the overall cooperation, especially in economy. To that end, both sides voiced their interest and willingness to organise a presentation of investment potentials of Montenegro and the promotion of Norwegian investors' experience.

Roćen-ŽipeMinister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Milan Rocen met today with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of France Alan Juppé, with whom he discussed in a very constructive atmosphere the processes of European and Euro-Atlantic integration of Montenegro and the bilateral relations between the two countries. Mr Juppé welcomed Montenegro's commitment to its strategic goals and said that France supports Montenegro's EU accession, and he underlined in the context of the positive Commission recommendation, that his country will give full support to the opening of accession negotiations if Montenegro continues pursuing the ongoing reforms in relation to the results achieved in meeting the seven key priorities.

Roćen - DiufMinister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Milan Rocen met yesterday with the Secretary General of the Organisasion Internationel Francophonie (OIF) Abud Diuf. Mr Diuf said he was glad Montenegro was last year admitted to the OIF as an observer and he commended efforts Montenegro is putting into the promotion of French and its readiness to enhance cooperation. Both sides underlined the importance of the memorandum on implementation of the multiannual programme for learning French in the Montenegrin public administration, as Montenegro moves closer to the EU. We are content that Montenegro is part of the large francophone family, said Mr Roćen and underlined Montenegro's commitment to the promotion of French language and culture.

Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Mian Rocen began a two-day visit to Paris at the invitation of the French Foreign Minister Alan Juppé. He first met with the President of the National Assembly, Bernard Accoyer.

Mr Accoyer expressed content with an open conversation with the Montenegrin Minister in which focus were the issues of European Integrations of Montenegro, especially in the context of the European Commission's recommendation for opening of the accession negotiations, and the Enlargement policy. He said that strong friendly bonds exist between Montenegro and France and, in light of the current situation in the EU and the issue of enlargement, underlined that every country which aspires to join the EU has to work hard on meeting the criteria. This is, he said, the only way to reach the goal and, in this context, conveyed willingness for strengthening of cooperation with Montenegro.

Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Milan Rocen will depart tomorrow to France on a two-day visit, at the invitation of the French Foreign Minister Alan Juppé.
The focus of the conversation will be the European Integration of Montenegro, especially in the context of the European Commission recommendation for opening of the accession negotiations and the issue of further improvement of the bilateral relations.
While in Paris, Minister Rocen will also meet other high French state officials.
