• President of the Parliament of Montenegro Ranko Krivokapić participated on the Fifteenth Annual Session of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly that was held on 3-7 June 2006 in Brussels. Montenegro had its representatives on the Sixteenth Annual Session of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly that was held on 5-9 July 2007 in Kiev, as well on the meeting of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly held from 29 September to 2 October 2007 in u Portorož, Slovenia.

• Montenegro was presented for the first time as new OSCE member at the OSCE Ministerial Conference in Brussels that was held on 4-5 December 2006, and Head of Montenegrin Diplomacy Milan Roćen led the delegation.

• OSCE High Commissioner on National Minorities Mr Rolf Ekéus visited Podgorica on 11 April 2007 and met with high Montenegrin officials, whereas a constructive role of the official Montenegro was particularly pointed out both internally and regionally.

• The Annual Meeting of the Heads of the OSCE Missions for South-Eastern Europe was held in Montenegro for the first time in April 2007, which was attended by the Minister of Foreign Affairs Milan Roćen.

• Minister of Defence of Montenegro Boro Vučinić signed in Podgorica on 18 April 2007 'The programme of development of capacities for demilitarization and secure stockpiling of light weapons and conventional ammunitions', (Montenegro Demilitarization Program-MONDEM) which is the Programme of EUR 6 million value, which will be realized by the Ministry of Defence in cooperation with OSCE and UNDP. The destruction of the first out of 61 tanks that represented surplus of weapons on 3 July 2007 marked the beginning of the Montenegro Demilitarization Programme. In addition, the Ministry of Interior Affairs and Public Administration and OSCE Mission to Montenegro signed Memorandum of Understanding, which envisages the support and assistance of OSCE to the Ministry of Interior Affairs and Police Administration in the specific areas.

• Minister of Defence of Montenegro Boro Vučinić, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands J. P. M. Van Dartel and UNDP Resident Representative a.i./UN Interagency Focal a.i. in Montenegro Garret Tankosić Kelly signed on 19 October 2007 two project documents within MONDEM programme: 'Disposal of Hazardous Toxic Waste' and 'SALW (conventional ammunition) Stockpile Management and Security'.

• Minister of Defence of Montenegro, Boro Vučinić, Head of the OSCE Mission Paraskeva Badesku and UNDP Resident Representative a.i./UN Interagency Focal a.i. in Montenegro Garret Tankosić Kelly signed on 12 February 2008 two project documents within MONDEM programme, the first refers to the authorization to transfer the amount of EUR 407,289, which is collected through the process of destruction of heavy weapons, and the latter refers to the donation of GBP 250,000 for demilitarization of conventional weapons.

• Delegation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Montenegro attended the annual OSCE meeting on human dimension, which represents the highest meeting committed to human rights that was held in Warsaw from 24 September to 5 October within the Spain OSCE Chairmanship.

• Political Director of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Radulović participated at the OSCE Conference on Intolerance and Discrimination towards Muslims, which was held in Cordoba (Spain) 9-10 October 2007. This meeting was the opportunity to point out that Montenegro, regardless of its size and geopolitical importance, may give significant contribution with its positive example to the affirmation of all values discussed at the Conference.

• Minister of Foreign Affairs Milan Roćen visited Vienna on 25 October 2007 at the invitation of the Chairman of the OSCE Permanent Council. Besides speaking at the OSCE Permanent Council, on the margins of the meeting, Minister Milan Roćen had separate meetings with OSCE Secretary General Marc Perrin de Brichambaut and OSCE Chairman of the Permanent Council Carlos Sanchez de Boado and the EU High Representative for Bosnia and Herzegovina Miroslav Lajčak.

• Minister of Foreign Affairs Milan Roćen attended the meeting of the OSCE Ministerial Councils that was held on 29-30 November 2007 in Madrid. Besides speaking at the session,  on the margins of the meeting, minister Roćen had a series of bilateral meetings with the heads of delegations of participating countries and international organizations as well as the OSCE officials .

• Minister of Foreign Affairs Milan Roćen met with the OSCE Secretary General de Brichambaut during its stay in Austria on 30 January 2008, where it was accepted the invitation of Montenegro to OSCE to observe the Presidential Elections. After the Presidential Elections that were held in April, ODIHR published the preliminary positive report on the course of elections, with the evaluation that they largely met international standards.

  • • 27-28 June 2009, Corfu – Minister of Foreign Affairs Milan Roćen took part in a two-day informal ministerial meeting of the OSCE member-states dedicated to the future of European security and the role of OSCE in its strengthening. At the margins of the meeting, Minister Roćen had informal meetings with his Greek counterpart and then-OSCE Chairman-in-office Dora Bakoyannis and Foreign Ministers of Germany, Hungary, Italy, Luxembourg, Malta, Russia, Slovakia and Spain, as well as with US Deputy State Secretary. Minister Roćen also talked with the EU High Representative, EU Foreign Relations Commissioner and OSCE Secretary-General.
  • • 10th July 2009, Podgorica – OSCE Secretary-General Marc Perrin de Brichambaut was in an official visit to Montenegro, on which occasion he met with President Filip Vujanović, Speaker of the Parliament Ranko Krivokapić, Prime Minister Milo Đukanović and Foreign Minister Milan Roćen.
  • • 28th September – 9th October 2009, Warsaw – A delegation of the Foreign Ministry of Montenegro attended the Annual OSCE human dimension session, which is the largest gathering dedicated to human rights.
  • • 01-02 December 2009, Athens – Minister of Foreign Affairs Milan Roćen headed the Montenegrin delegation at the 17th Session of the OSCE Ministerial Council. After giving a speech at the conference, he had a number of bilateral meetings with Foreign Ministers of Andora, Denmark, Greece, Israel, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Luxembourg, Malta, the Netherlands, Russia, San Marino, Foreign Ministers of the countries of the region, Heads of Delegation of other OSCE member-states (Poland, the UK, the USA), OSCE Secretary-General, and had informal meetings with Foreign Ministers of the Czech Republic, Hungary and Slovakia.
  • • 01-02 December 2010, Astana – The President of Montenegro headed the Delegation of Montenegro at the OSCE Summit. Montenegro’s participation at the meeting was very fruitful because it helped further improve Montenegro’s general image at the OSCE and because the President and the Foreign Minister had a plethora of bilateral meetings where they agreed on various concrete models of co-operation.
