I would like to greet you warmly on behalf of Government of Montenegro. Welcome to Herceg Novi, welcome to Montenegro. It is a great pleasure for me that Montenegro is a host of the meeting of the Initiative on cooperation between local communities at border triangle of Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Croatia. This is yet another confirmation of excellent good-neighborly relations among our friendly nations and countries characterized by intensive political dialogue and comprehensive bilateral and regional cooperation. It is also a confirmation of progress of each country individually and region as a whole on common European and Euro Atlantic path. I believe it is a great step forward civilization-wise that we have in the meantime advanced to the goals that connect us in spite of unfortunate and tragic events from recent past, which remain forever a warning and historical lesson to present and generations that are to come – so that they would never be repeated again...
