'The Montenegro Summer School has made it clear that the new diplomatic strategy in this region is predicated on a sustained effort that will take some time to bear fruit. And, young diplomats of today - potential ministers and ambassadors of tomorrow have a significant role to play in building a democratic and prosperous region, integrated into the EU.'

'In the past two decades Montenegro has been a good example of stable, multicultural and multiethnic society in this turbulent region,' Mr Bibović continued. 'The fact that today people of different nations and religions from the region feel comfortable and welcome here is the best illustration for this. We are confident that Montenegro will continue to contribute to keeping the region stable as moving towards EU,' said Mr Bibović adding that the UNDP would continue to support similar initiatives in the future hoping that the Summer School for Young Diplomats could become a good tradition of regional cooperation.
